Food, service, and ambiance were great! Reminds me of my wife that left me in '99. She always loved spicy thai food after her old friend Jaquiline that moved from Thailand and settled next to our cottage in Colorado. Tuk Tuk Thai Grill reminded me how she used to come in on a full moon every 5th rising sheep dropped a carrot with the most delicious Yellow Curry I've tasted. 4/5 at best
Kiosk next to door was a bit stressful, but the food was really good and quick service! I had the Panang Curry, and found it balanced with sweet with hints of spice from the bell pepper. You can also request for chili! Mango sticky rice was also good. Not the super sweet Thai mangoes, but it's Colorado and the SLIGHT sourness helps offset the sweet condensed milk.
Excellent service from the moment I stepped in. Clean restaurant. Easy to read menu. Kind person serving me at the front taking my order. I got my food to go. I also used the restroom while I was there which was also well taken care of. Next time I'm here I will check out the area where they have clothes and other items for sale as well. The food itself was delicious. Great flavor and you are able to choose the level or spice you want. I typically do medium at places and I was quite pleased with this. We got drunken noodles sweet and sour chicken and the Thai Custard dessert which was a new treat for me and I loved it- sticky texture and sweet and filling . Highly recommend and will be back again!
This is our go to place for lunch when I am in the area for work. The service is quick and friendly. They have quite a few items to choose from. All the dishes that I have ordered have been good. Be careful of the spice levels since they mean what they say! Spicy WAS SPICY! The ambiance is casual and there is plenty of seating available if you want to stay and eat there. Definitely a good option for good and quick Thai food in the area.
The food here is excellent! It was my first time first time in the Lakewood area and I was surprised to find this restaurant near my hotel. I had the Panang (yellow) curry, basil chicken, and fried rice.
I loveeeed their shrimp cashew nut. Usually I order it with chicken and it would be very good but with a little bit of sauce. This time, I ordered it with shrimp for the first time and I loved it. They put a good amount of sauce with it. My husband ordered their basil chicken and he said he would give it 5/10 that's why I'm giving them 4 stars.
I'm so glad lad we opted to stop in! The staff was friendly and helpful and the food is amazing!! I wish they were closer to my house because I'd be here all the time! I had Panang Curry- oh my gosh!! I kept saying "this is so good! Wow this is so good!" Some of the best curry I've had! The fresh crisp vegetables and chicken are this dish perfect. I can't wait to try more.
